Mithun Chakraborty’s wallet stolen at BJP rally, organisers appeal for its return

Actor and BJP leader Mithun Chakraborty’s wallet was stolen on Tuesday while he was campaigning for the Jharkhand Assembly elections in Dhanbad.
Chakraborty, a star campaigner for the BJP, had gone to address an election rally in Dhanbad’s Kaliasole in support of BJP candidate from Nirsa Aparna Sengupta on Tuesday.
There was a huge crowd at the rally to get a glimpse of the actor. However, videos from the rally show that there was inadequate security there due to which several people climbed on the stage to click pictures with Chakraborty.
It was during this time that Chakraborty’s wallet was stolen and organisers can be heard appealing for the return of his wallet.
“We request that whoever has stolen Mithun Da’s wallet, please return it to him,” one of the organisers announced during the rally. They also requested people to get down from the stage.

However, Chakraborty’s wallet couldn’t be found, and he returned early from the event.
